Chris Berry,
Staff Shooter Coordinator,
Sarcoxie, MO |
I have been with Alpine Archery for the last 11 years shooting all over the country. Two years ago I was ask to start working as the Pro-Staff Coordinator. Which I was happy to take on the task and we are growing ….I have been an outdoor guide for the last 26 years. I am in the public eye a lot by teaching for the Missouri Dept. of Conservation, Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources, Bass Pro Shops National W.O.W Wonderful Outdoor World Program, Lawrence Co. 4H Archery Program, and Monett YMCA Summer Archery Program. I am the promoter for Illusions 3-DArchery Range “Home of the Mid-West Championships” as well as teach Outdoor Skills in various elementary schools in the immediate area. And to top it off, I have 4 wonderful kids that are in the outdoors as much as I am.My real job is a Law Enforcement Officer for the Lawrence County Sheriff Dept. and have been so employed for the last 16 years. My shooting past: To me some of my greatest shooting achievements are working with our youth. I have won some great shoots like NFAA Nationals 2008, Stanislawski Open 2007, the KC Shoot-Out 2008, Bass Pro Shops 3-D Pop-Up World Championships(My son won as well in his class 2008), but I would have to say the most fun I have had shooting archery is making and shooting the Great Outdoor Games in 2004, 2005, and 2006. In the Photo(top middle) is my first 5 spot 60X target which was shot the first day of Missouri State Indoor Championships. Which I did win the next day with a 57X. The plaque on the left is from Missouri State Indoor Championships. |
