Pro-staffer Laura McCann is a school teacher and lives in Hamburg, New York. Hamburg is located in western New York just south of Buffalo and it has some of the best deer and turkey hunting in New York State. Laura started her archery career shooting 3D tournaments with her husband Chris. Chris is her favorite hunting partner and they have been sharing the outdoors with each other since before they were married. Laura is an avid archer who believes that consistent practice makes her a much stronger and better bowhunter. When she is not shooting her bow she is in the woods hunting with it. It doesn't matter if it's deer or turkey she’s always ready to go. She also is an instructor teaching women and kids about the joys of archery hunting and the outdoors. Laura is an active member with the Springville chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and is a main participant and instructor in the “Women In The Outdoors” program. Laura is practicing what she preaches and is anxiously awaiting her twin boys to get old enough to take out to the woods with her and her husband. Laura’s favorite saying is “Share the outdoors with someone new, who knows, you might find a new hunting partner.”
