I’m 24 years old and a country girl living in a small town where everyone around lives to hunt. Surprisingly I never archery hunted, let alone picked up a bow until 2 years ago I became part of the Polish family. They have a family archery business, “KJ’s Kustom Archery.” Being around archery equipment all the time and watching people shoot seeing how much fun they have I decided to give it a try. KJ Polish, who coached me day after day, and the help of Kevin and Christina Polish, I became a bow shooter. I love it!! I shoot every chance I get. Whether if it is by myself or with some friends. I love to fling some arrows.
During the hunting season I shoot an Alpine Eclipse. It is an awesome bow!! Smooth…Quiet…and my best friend in the woods! I have killed several deer with the Eclipse, and I have no complaints. I love being outdoors and hunting is one of my favorite things to do. What’s better than sitting in the woods by yourself anxiously waiting for a big buck to come your way? It is such a thrill.
When hunting season is out I spend my time shooting targets. When target shooting, I shoot a Pink Alpine Sienna. It is a girl’s best friend. It was my first bow I had got, and don’t want to get rid of it. I enjoy shooting in leagues. 3D, Spot and also the Techno Hunt. I am competitive and I give my all when I shoot. My own brother, Paxton doesn’t even like to shoot with me... Just Kidding.
As far as Tournaments go, I travel a lot with KJ when he goes to his tournaments, he is a Pro Shooter. I enjoy going to them. I always wanted to try it. So sometime in the near future I am going to give it a try. You never know until you do it!
This is definitely a hobby I will be enjoying for a very long time! This is a sport where you have to keep up with. You know the old saying, "Practice Makes Perfect!"
Give it your all….and have fun!! Don’t be afraid to fling some arrows!!
