Tundra Series Bows...
Sleek, powerful, and radically innovative...
When you take a close look at the New Alpine
Tundra Series you’ll see we have built these bows around
a slick new concept. The Tundra Series riser is modular.
Modular construction permits the building of parallel limb
bows, which normally have very long risers, at a considerable
cost savings. Risers machined from a solid billet for parallel
limb bows have a considerable amount of material waste and
very long machining cycles, driving the cost up. The other
option is to build the riser from an extrusion. Extrusions,
however, tend to twist and warp through the extruding and
heat treating process. Alpine’s
solution for building the new Tundra Series bows is to build
the riser from individual components. We start by machining
the individual components to very precise tolerances. Then
we assemble the components using heat treated dowel pins for
perfect alignment and Loctite all the fasteners used in the
assembly of the riser unit. The exciting new Match Grade bows
(with integrated accessories) are designed from the ground
up using fully integrated accessories that work perfectly with
these new superstars. This integration of accessories results
in better balance and noise control. The sleek riser design,
built in Alpine Whisperflite fall away arrow rest, Montana
Black Gold Flash Point Sight, and MR2 Stabilizer with six shooter
technology, reduces side to side balance issues common in non-accessory
integrated bows. All of the Silverado Bows built using the
Tundra Series Technology are sure to fit
the bill for the bowhunter that lives for cutting edge equipment.
We have made every effort to build the finest shooting bow
you can buy. Our radical departure with this new riser design
gives you more balance and control than ever before offered.
Because of the unique riser geometry in the grip section,
you have a very sleek and torque free area to hold the bow
throughout the shooting sequence. |
